Papadia / Presbytera

The Papadhias Ministry of the Orthodox Metropolis of Eldoret and Northern Kenya brings together the wives of Orthodox priests in a spirit of faith, fellowship, and service. United by their shared calling, Papadhias support their husbands in pastoral ministry while offering their own unique gifts in the life and mission of the Church. Although not ordained to the priesthood, Papadhias play a vital role in strengthening parish life, encouraging Christian families, mentoring women and young people, and supporting the spiritual growth of the faithful. Through their quiet witness, compassion, and dedication, they reflect the love of Christ in their homes, parishes, and communities. Papadhias play an important role in supporting the missionary work of the Orthodox Metropolis of Eldoret and Northern Kenya. Whether welcoming visitors, encouraging parish families, participating in outreach initiatives, or supporting church development projects, they contribute greatly to the growth and vitality of the Church. Their faithful service reflects the Gospel through acts of kindness, generosity, compassion, and unwavering commitment to Christ.
